European Youth Film Festival - "EFeMKa" is one of the rare initiatives supporting and protecting young filmmakers from all over Europe from the uneven competition that they encounter from older more experienced colleagues in this field. The festival lets them enter this film environment and make their debut, encouraging them to try and improve their workshop - despite some faults and imperfections of their first creations.

As every year, this competition will include all film genres and formats (starting this year we also accept films made with cell phones), and their rebel authors will have an excellent opportunity to confront their output with other filmmakers, vigorous audiences, special guests and professional jury members.

Copy of the film on a DVD (in case of cell phone made films also in the form of video files) along with the participation form, must be sent until November 2, 2009 to the following address:

The Festival covers cost of stay in Warsaw of one person from the crew of every film selected for the competition. All screenings are free of charge.
