As of January 1, 2010, Arnold Heslenfeld has joined IDTV Film as executive producer. Idse Grotenhuis will start as Head of Drama on February 1, 2010.

Heslenfeld was Head of Feature Film at the Netherlands Film Fund from 2003 to 2008. Prior to this period, he worked as a line producer for films including The Discovery of Heaven, Supertex, and De Johnsons, and was one of the initiators of the Film CV. At IDTV Film, he will primarily focus on the business side and the financing of feature film and drama projects.
In recent years, Grotenhuis worked as a Creative Producer for Endemol and directed productions including Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden, Onderweg naar morgen, and Grijpstra en de Gier. Within IDTV Film, he will lead the television drama department.

IDTV Film was formed in early 2008 from the merger of two existing production houses: Motel Films and IDTV Film. In this formation, arthouse productions (including Langer Licht, Shanghai Trance), mainstream films (including Alles is Liefde, Bride Flight), and television dramas (including Klein Holland, 't Schaep met de Vijf Pooten) are produced for the Dutch and international markets.
Several feature films will premiere next year, including First Mission (Boris Paval Conen), Joy (Mijke de Jong), RU There (David Verbeek), and Vreemd Bloed (Johan Timmers).
In the realm of television drama, the new 12-part drama series Bloedverwanten will be broadcast starting March 4, and filming for the eight-part series Lijn 32 will begin at the end of April. Work is also currently underway on a sequel to 't Vrije Schaep (Beeld en Geluid Award for Best Fiction).
