Nowhere Boy tells the story of John Lennon's youth. Liverpool, 1955. Lennon is an intelligent but sensitive teenager caught between his Aunt Mimi and his mother. He tries to escape his family's secrets, and in rock 'n' roll he finds the ideal escape route and in Paul McCartney an unconditional friend. Directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, starring Aaron Johnson and Kristen Scott Thomas, among others. The film premieres on April 1.
