COLIVIA/THE CAGE WINS DAAD SHORT FILM AWARD AT THE 60th BERLINALE.

During the 60th Berlin International Film Festival, the Romanian received
director Adrian Sitaru the DAAD Short Film Award, a prize that is
awarded to the most artistically outstanding film, by the jury.
Colivia / The Cage had already been selected and nominated for a Golden
Beer in the competition. The prize, consisting of a financial
support, Sitaru will use to the scenario of his new
to further develop the feature film Domestic.

Colivia / The Cage is a short story about a father and son. As Mihaes
one day when the little son takes a sick pigeon home, a
new conflict between the two, but at the same time it opens the door for
a possible reconciliation.

Colivia / The Cage is a co-production between the Romanian 4Proof Film and
Kaliber Film from Rotterdam. The short film is part of the feature film.
