Originally from Russia, Ivana Chubbuck gives acting training, and among her students are Oscar winners and nominees Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, Elisabeth Shue, and Eva Mendes. Additionally, she trains and coaches actors such as Jim Carrey, Eriq Lasalle, Beyoncé Knowles, and Jon Voight.
She has clearly described the way she teaches her students to approach the craft of acting in her book The Power of the Actor.
She now gives her Scene Study Workshops in both America and Europe, in which she works with students using this technique she developed.

Starting February 21, 12 actors will train for eight Thursday evenings using the techniques of renowned drama coach Ivana Chubbuck. They will work in the Zimihc theater hall in Utrecht under the guidance of Linda Kasander, who completed her internship with Ivana.

Just like in America, it is possible to watch these lessons from the stands. See how actors discover, perform, receive instructions, and rehearse their scenes. Experience the successes and frustrations and learn from the pointers Linda gives.
