Dear Film Colleagues!

In the past (read: a few years ago), when you proudly confessed on set that you lived in Bos en Lommer, you were met with some ridicule.

Then came the question in response as to what language you spoke with your neighbors, if there was any communication at all, and the well-intentioned advice not to leave interesting call sheets and exciting flight cases with equipment visible in your car....

Times change—unfortunately not the era of car break-ins—but Bos en Lommer is hot! How often does it happen that crew and cast members turn out to live in front of, behind, or next to you on the same street and/or come from the same neighborhood? Often! And that is a nice and positive development!

Therefore: this is the initiative to organize a get-together with film colleagues soon. Because "soon" is very non-committal, and it shouldn't remain just an initiative, I am immediately attaching a date and location to it:

NB:
This date has been scheduled in consultation with Cafe Luim (www.cafeluim.nl). The agreement is that everyone pays for their order immediately at the bar. This is to prevent the last-departing pub-goers from being saddled with a bill for half of the Netherlands' film crew.
