Over the past few months, no fewer than 112 entries have poured in, and VERS has made a selection from them. The 15 nominees for the VERS Awards 2018 are:

At the end of the day, the above-mentioned creators stand a chance to win a total cash prize of €15,000 for best film, editing, and cinematography. And the best film, of course, goes home with the famous Golden Apple!

Beyond the film program, the VERS Awards offers all visitors the tools to arm themselves as young makers within a changing film climate. Through workshops and discussion panels, we explore what established and aspiring makers can learn from each other. And during the large networking reception, there is room to exchange ideas and make new contacts.

For VERS members, the festival is free upon presentation of the 2018 membership card.
(but then you do need to purchase a zero-euro ticket via the ticket link)
