Miffy the film and A Small Chance selected
Subsidy for two new feature films

Miffy the film will be the first Dutch feature-length animated film in almost thirty years.
The film is partly made possible by a financial contribution from the Spanish sales agent Six Sales, and is produced by the Danish animation studio A.Film.

The film was developed with the animation intendant of the fund and will receive a realization subsidy of 350,000 euros.

Logline: Miffy visits the zoo with her friends. Together they go on an exciting and cheerful treasure hunt along the animals, in which the public can actively participate. Miffy plays games, sings songs and discovers a big surprise at the end.

The youth film A Small Chance, based on the well-known book by Marjolijn Hof (Gouden Griffel 2007), has received a 475,000 euro realization subsidy.

Logline: Kiek is afraid because her father is going to the war to help people. To reduce the chance of something happening to him, she goes to strange lengths: she needs a dead dog and a dead mouse. Kiek doesn't know anyone who has a dead mouse, a dead dog and a dead father. That's a slim chance.
