About me
Hi, my name is Mariia, I am an actress, originally from Ukraine, where I mostly did stage acting. After moving to the Netherlands, I restarted my career, focusing on screen acting.
I graduated from Odesa's art college as a director of amateur theatre. This background helps me understand my character's core, her relationships and choices better. After thoroughly analyzing the script and the character, I feel free and confident on set and can rely on my instincts.
Characters I like to play the most have a rich inner world, they have been through something in the past and still carry this experience with them. Intelligent, layered, complex women - these roles are really yummy to me :)
I'm currently studying at Mulholland Acting Academy and I expect to graduate in June 2027.
In Ukraine I worked in voice-over, recording commercials, apps content, educational videos, books, poetry. I also worked as a news reporter.
