Hazal Özen

I am a freelance video editor, director and filmmaker based in Waalre, near Eindhoven, and the founder of Grain Films. I offer remote video editing for filmmakers, videographers and businesses, including short films, documentaries, event videos and company content. I work in DaVinci Resolve, with a focus on storytelling, rhythm and a clear visual flow.
Originally from Ankara, my creative journey began in theater with METU Players and continued through short films such as Visitors, Odadaki Fil and Apartman 6284, as well as cinematography and documentary work. My engineering background also brings a structured approach to planning and problem-solving.
Available for freelance editing projects and collaboration with production companies. Project scope, delivery dates and rates are agreed individually. Portfolio and enquiries: grainfilms.nl/en
