Raksha Hoost

Raksha is an international actress, born in Suriname and raised in the Netherlands. She has a passion for portraying strong, complex characters in TV series, films, and theater. She played lead roles in the short films I Am Mary (UK), Shadow Boxer (UK), Moonflower (Italy), The Call (UK), and Queenie (UK). Additionally, she performed her autobiographical one-woman show 'Dr Jekyll and Miss Hyde' in theaters. More recently, she plays one of the lead roles in the NPO Zapp series All You Can Eid (NL, 2026).
Raksha has trained with, among others, Andre Landzaat (Actors Studio NY, Lee Strasberg Institute) and Simon Furness (Meisner-The Actor's Temple, London).
