About me
I am Elijah Witterland, 24 years old, a filmmaker, and someone who can sometimes get just a little too enthusiastic about a good idea.
I love creating stories that evoke a reaction in people, whether that’s tension, discomfort, recognition, or just a very loud “what did I just watch?” I find psychology, atmosphere, and unique characters particularly interesting.
When I work with other people, I find it very important to really build a bond with each other first. For me, a project works much better when people feel comfortable, trust each other, and can also have a laugh in between. That is why I like to pay attention to the atmosphere within a team and to who someone is beyond just their role on set.
And yes, once I get enthusiastic about a project, I can really get lost in it. Then one small idea suddenly becomes a complete universe with twenty side paths, three extra scenes, and probably way too many notes.
