In May, VR museum Entr opened near NEMO in Amsterdam, featuring a multi-person VR experience that takes visitors through the Amsterdam of 1652 via three historical characters. Initiator Vincent Slangen drew inspiration from the digitally accessible gossip in the city archives. Director Nienke Huitenga-Broeren, known for *Rozsypne* and *Lacuna*, wrote the story together with four historians, deliberately avoiding iconic narratives to highlight everyday perspectives, including colonial oppression. Entr aims to prove that artistic VR requires a physical home, comparable to a cinema for film, and is thereby experimenting with new business models for cultural and educational XR experiences.
