In the new realization round of Caleidoscoop, two projects have been selected that will each receive a contribution for low-budget production within one year. David-Jan Bronsgeest receives €549,101 for Paradise Morbid, a hybrid horror documentary in which an Amsterdam heroin user sees his younger self emerge and consequently spirals out of control in a story about societal monster formation, produced by Bloodrave Films. Sven Bresser, known for Rietland, receives €533,750 for Uit wolken zag ik aarde komen, a historical project from 1915 in which two peat workers discover an ancient bog body and decide to secretly relocate it, produced by Viking Film.
