Marjan Berk, writer and actress born in Zeist in 1932, has passed away at the age of 93. Berk began her career as an actress on stage and in films, after which she focused on writing novels, columns, and scripts for radio and television. She gained widespread fame with the 66-part television series Vrouwenvleugel, for which she received the Golden Televizier-Ring in 1994. In addition to this television work, she published 43 books, the last of which, *Hofdames: Verhalen uit een eigenzinnig Amsterdams hofje*, appeared last November.
