In the first half of this year, Netflix subscribers worldwide collectively watched over 97 billion hours of content, with more than a third of all viewed content being non-English. Dutch productions performed remarkably well in this regard: iHostage was viewed five million times, while Amsterdam Empire, starring Famke Janssen and Elise Schaap, garnered over two million views. The most popular titles remained American, with His & Hers topping the list with 104 million views. Netflix saw its revenue rise by 13.4 percent in the past quarter to $12.6 billion, driven by more subscribers, price increases, and higher advertising revenue.
