Nina Broers won a Student Oscar with her short film *Where Is My Sex Drive?*, a social experiment she made as a third-year student at the St. Joost School of Art & Design Breda. The film explores her own diminished libido through a verité approach, inspired by Dogma 95. Her male lead, Jacob, was given room to improvise but identified so strongly with his character that he openly challenged the film's premise and wanted his name removed from the credits. That dynamic unintentionally enriched the film. Broers described the Student Oscar win as a cathartic moment.
