IFFR has appointed three guest curators for the RTM program during IFFR 2027: Leana Boven, Ciska Meister, and Rocky Roos. They will curate the RTM Day on Friday, January 29 at LantarenVenster. Rotterdam-based makers have been contributing to this annual program since 2023. Additionally, IFFR is expanding its year-round activities with Scope on Screen, which screens short films by South Holland talent in eight regional cinemas. The Film Club and an education program are also part of this initiative. Furthermore, sixteen films from the IFFR 2026 program have been nominated for a Golden Calf at the Netherlands Film Festival, including work by Ashley Röttjers, Nienke Deutz, and Digna van der Put.
