The European Film Academy honours Beki Probst, Marin Karmitz and Sandra den Hamer as the first recipients of the new Community Award for an Outstanding Contribution to European Film Culture. The award recognizes a decisive and long-lasting contribution to the development and expansion of European film culture. The ceremony will take place during the European Film Awards weekend in Athens in January 2027.
