Nine European production companies have founded The Creatives, the first producer-led film group of this size in Europe. Lemming Film, Good Chaos, Haut et Court, Komplizen, Maipo, Masha, Razor Film, Spiro, and Unité are joining forces in a joint holding structure, while each company retains its own identity. Anton Studios is joining as a minority investor. Romain Bessi becomes CEO. The group is responding to consolidation pressure, the rise of streaming, and declining subsidies. With more than 400 titles and award-winning works such as Toni Erdmann, Waltz with Bashir, and The Class, The Creatives combines creative independence with shared financial clout.
