Mijke de Jong followed Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema with a camera for nearly a year for The Mayor: Halsema & Amsterdam. The documentary has its world premiere at IDFA and will be broadcast by NTR on December 27. De Jong portrays Halsema as an administrator and Amsterdam as a city, without concealing the difficult aspects.
