Raluca Lupaşcu's debut documentary *A Modern Roma Fairytale* has its world premiere in the Luminous section of IDFA. The Dutch-Romanian director followed a Roma family in eastern Romania for four years. The film highlights the lives of women within a closed community, inspired by Kusturica's work. Verde Film handles the Dutch distribution.
