August, 1991 is an independent coming-of-age drama about growing up, first love, and the uncertainties that come with it. The story follows a group of young people during a summer in which friendships change, feelings are discovered, and reality does not always turn out to be what it seems.

For the role of Anna, we are looking for a female actor aged 18-20 (playing age 17-19).

Anna is friendly, caring, and sincere. She radiates calm and has a natural warmth, but is at the same time honest and dares to stand up for herself when necessary.

We are looking for someone who:
• Can act naturally and credibly.
•Can show emotional depth.
• Feels comfortable in an intimate, character-driven coming-of-age.
• Is available for the filming days.

Experience is welcome, but not required. We consider talent, motivation, and a strong connection to the character to be the most important.

Period
Filming is scheduled between the 10th and the end of August.
