For an ambitious short film, I am looking for a producer and a Director of Photography to realize this project together.

The film is set in 1470 and follows a scout trekking alone through nature. In a poetic and contemplative narrative about death, morality, spirituality, faith, and human nature, his encounter with a knight and the subsequent confrontation become a catalyst for the mental struggles he fights.

So, apart from the fight scene, the focus really lies on atmosphere, emotion, and a strong visual narrative. It is a narrative poem.

Additionally, I am looking for an experienced Director of Photography, preferably with their own camera. In terms of cinematography, the film will feature many static (painting-style) shots. Think Barry Lyndon (some inspiration images added). But also varied, moving shots in later scenes.
