The film addresses the theme of sexual harassment and violence while going out in a personal and careful manner. The story largely takes place during an evening at a club. The scenes set in the club capture the ecstasy and freedom of going out: losing yourself in the music and dancing until you can't anymore.
With the film, we want to make visible how boundaries can sometimes gradually shift, for example out of politeness or social pressure, and what consequences this can have; in the film, these consequences play out on the street.

When Valerie is threatened by an intrusive man while out, the line between reality and experience blurs; fragments of ecstasy on the dance floor and the raw, nasty experience with the man become intertwined.
