Last Friday evening the Film1 On Air team won no fewer than five PromaxBDA UK Awards. These prestigious prizes are awarded every year to the best European promotional films.

During the awards ceremony in London, Film1's On Air team won no fewer than five of the nine nominations. Of these awards, two were gold, two bronze and one silver. The win is especially notable because the prizes are rarely won by non-Britons. "Winning prizes five times at this level is incredible, a top achievement. It is recognition for our creativity, inventiveness and quality. It is a great compliment to the entire Film1 team, and the On Air team in particular, that we be honored at this level," said Film1 On Air Manager Dennis Hooftman.

Last year, the Film1 On Air team already won three prizes at the PromaxBDA UK Awards.
