The Food Film Festival is looking for tasty films for the 2012 edition. Have you - or someone you know - made a film about food, or do you want to make one? Send in your film and get a place in the 2012 Food Film Festival programming.

A challenge for film talent: make a beautiful, interesting or tasty film about food and be selected for the second edition of the Food Film Festival. The Food Film Festival wants to convey the love of food together with the many - big and small - problems of the current food system. Just like this year, this will also happen next year by offering an extensive program with films, debate and workshops.
The first edition of the Food Film Festival was a huge success with over 3500 visitors and an almost completely sold out programme. An excellent opportunity for novice and experienced filmmakers to show their skills to an interested audience. For the 2011 programming see www.foodfilmfestival.nl.

The gamerules

We are not here to limit the art so there are only a few rules. First, there are two categories for which films can be submitted: shorts and feature length films. Shorts should not be longer than 30 minutes. Feature length submissions must be a minimum of 45 minutes and a maximum of 120 minutes. All entries must be either Dutch or English spoken, or subtitled in one of these languages. Upon selection, films must be delivered to Digibeta or they must be able to be played in High Definition (HD) via the server. Delivery is made on DVD by post, or via We Transfer by e-mail. You are completely free to give your own interpretation to the subject: documentary or fiction, about the love of food or about the problems of the current food system, animation or black and white. As long as the film has something to do with food!
