On Thursday, June 30, the first seminar of the Green Film Making Competition, organized by Strawberry Earth at the Hub Amsterdam, took place.
The meeting was a resounding success! The program included inspiring speakers, an interactive speed dating session, and educational Q&A sessions with various professionals from the field.

Actress and competition ambassador Thekla Reuten spoke about her own experiences with green initiatives in the film industry. She said that she, along with many filmmakers, is eager for more information and action regarding sustainable filmmaking.
But: where do you start? That is the question on everyone's mind. Because a filmmaker is constantly under time pressure and has a limited budget, he quickly loses sight of the environmental aspect. A frequently heard remark that day was that a place should actually be set up for permanent sustainability advisors who deal with precisely that issue, so that 'the shoemaker can stick to his last.'
