On Saturday 5 November from 13:00 - 15:00 in Theater de Lieve Vrouw in Amersfoort, there will be room for every starting filmmaker to participate in the pitch sessions during the SCENECS Film Festival. Everyone gets 5 minutes to pitch their idea, followed by 5 minutes of feedback from a panel of established filmmakers. The pitch panel consists of André van Duren, Frans Weisz, Pieter Verhoef and Mijke de Jong.

Between 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm a Masterclass will be given by director Mijke de Jong, winner of several Golden Calves and of the films 'Joy', 'Het Zusje van Katia' and 'Tussenstand', among others. The Masterclass will focus on 'how to work with inexperienced actors as a director'.
