The evening, organized in collaboration with documentary channel Docs Online, focuses on the public perception of the police actions in the former Dutch East Indies. This follows the rekindled discussion surrounding the apologies by the Dutch government and the associated compensation for the surviving relatives of the victims of the massacre in the village of Rawagede in December 1947.

The guests are:
Thom Verheul: director of Tabee Toean (1995).
Martin Elands: military historian affiliated with the Veterans Institute.
Gerda Jansen Hendriks: program maker at Andere Tijden (NTR) for episodes about Rawagede and General Spoor, among others.
Piet de Blaauw: reporter for Altijd Wat (NCRV). In late 2011, he produced two reports on the war crimes committed by the Netherlands in Rawagede and on Sulawesi.

The debate is moderated by writer and journalist Ad van Liempt. Van Liempt was also the chief editor of the 9-part television series De Oorlog (NTR), broadcast in 2009.
