Last November, the final round of the 2008 European Script Contest took place in Zagreb, Croatia. Out of 24 finalists, the following 3 scripts were chosen, and will be produced next year with the support of Nisi Masa:
Scamps, by Ülkü Oktay (Turkey)
The Wedding Tape, by Ariel Shaban (Kosovo)
Furniture, by Melissa Suárez del Real (Spain)
The Dutch script contest\'s winner Michiel ten Horn came very close to being one of the winners, as his script \"Fore\" took fourth place. An outstanding achievement as it is, and we hope that Michiel will be able to produce his terrific script nevertheless!
Even if he couldnt grab the European award, Michiel ten Horn will be invited by NISI MASA to participate in a workshop to work on his very nice script, together with the 3 European winners!
