Film in the Corn. Drive-in cinema.
Behind a hedge of tall corn, immediately after the Techum exit south of Leeuwarden, a drive-in cinema is being built that will be open to cars, pedestrians, and cyclists. On September 13, 20, 27, and October 4, four 'big' films will be screened on an immense screen after sunset (around 9:00 PM). ::: Walk the Line, / September 27
Film about the life of American singer Johnny Cash and his marriage to June Carter Cash. Starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, among others.
::: Motorcycle diaries / October 4
The film is about the journey through South America in the 1950s of the Argentine revolutionary fighter Ernesto "Che" Guevara and Alberto Granado.

Before a film begins, a short introductory video has been created using material from the Historical Center Leeuwarden, based on the theme of the main film.
