Introduction CLICK!
The KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival is an accessible platform for animation in the broadest sense of the word. From September 17 to 20, we will organize the second edition of the KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival at Kriterion, the renowned cinema where students have called the shots for over sixty years—a multimedia festival where you can enjoy short animated films from all corners of the world, interactive gaming entertainment, fascinating side entertainment, and wonderful festivities.
Call for entries for KLIK!'s open and student competition
Last year, we received over 220 films, 95 of which survived our rigorous selection process and were screened in one of our three open competition programs, three student competition programs, or two Panorama programs. This year, we have contacted an even larger number of international animation programs and schools, so we hope to significantly increase that number! If you have made an animated film that you would like to screen at KLIK!, please respond to our Call for Entries! See our website for the registration forms: http://www.klikamsterdam.nl
Call for entries for E-Card competition, in collaboration with Boomerang
This year, we are proud to announce a new competition, thanks to our loyal and amazing media partners at Boomerang. To participate in the E-Card competition, see http://www.boomerang.nl/opdrachten/kom-met-een-animatie-om-op-te-sturen
Official KLIK! Off on April 3
We wouldn't be a festival if we didn't seize every (most) nonsensical excuse to throw a party. So, we hereby invite you to go wild at the KLIK! Off and celebrate our return to the festival circuit with an insane number of festivities at our regular festival home base, Kriterion, featuring DJs, VJs, and more acts than you can count on your limbs! Take a peek into your animated future using the most advanced scientific techniques and mystical methods! We look forward to what KLIK! has to offer this year, and we will also be screening a classic animated film; the evening will be infused with the special KLIK! atmosphere that you all appreciate so much.
