YOUR FILM IN CINEMAS WITHIN 48 HOURS?! IT'S POSSIBLE WITH THE SHOOT OUT!
Where can you make a film that is in theaters within 48 hours of your first shoot?
During the weekend of June 20 to 22, you can do it with The Shoot Out at the Shoot Me Film Festival in The Hague!
The Shoot Out is a breathtaking 24-hour filmmaking challenge; a competition between filmmakers that lasts only 24 hours. Who can handle the pressure and make the best short film without editing?
The Shoot Me Film Festival challenges filmmakers, friends, and families to this 24-hour challenge.
Do you dare to take on time, other teams, and yourself?
Then come to the Filmhuis in The Hague on Friday, June 20. You can already come up with the script, but we will give you the final ingredients just a few minutes before the start. From 9 PM, The Hague is your playground.
Only 10 films make it to the final and will be screened on the big screen at Filmhuis Den Haag during the award night on Sunday, June 22.
There, an expert professional jury will determine who may call themselves 'Best 24hr Filmmaker 2008'.
This jury consists of:
- Ronald Nadorp (director of the Bob Kommer Studios; sound finishing of all IMAX films and films by Paul Verhoven, among others)
- René Mendel (director of production company Interakt, known for 'Andere Tijden', among others)
- Rogier de Bruin (Screenwriter and advertising creator; including the Heineken ladybug commercial)
Let that camera smoke!
Register: 10 euros per team and 5 euros per person via www.shoot-me.nl
On the day itself (June 20): 15 euros per team and 7 euros per person at Filmhuis Den Haag, Spui 191.
