Because the ABCinema Foundation is a non-profit organization, it is possible to offer the course at a low price. During the current introductory period, the course costs only 49 euros.

With ABCinema, you learn everything about the history of film, editing, camera angles and shots, techniques, and much more in a playful and simple way. ABCinema reads like a book and watches like a film. It offers many extras compared to a static textbook because text and film images are integrated.

The course consists of (digital) text (over 300 pages) and visual material (over 14 hours). ABCinema contains a large collection of well-known and lesser-known film clips from 1878 to the present. Each clip serves as an example of a new discovery: cinematic language, editing, camera movement, framing, sound, talking film, color film, acting method, etc.
