Confessions: What would the soundtrack of your daily life sound like?

Audiovisual project by Nico Muhly, Teitur and Holland Baroque Society

Confessions is an innovative audiovisual project by America's hippest composer Nico Muhly, singer-songwriter Teitur, and the Dutch ensemble Holland Baroque Society.

Nico & Teitur compose soundtracks for videos that anyone can submit via the website www.confessions-tour.com.

Nico Muhly (28 years old) is 'America's hottest composer', wrote arrangements for Björk, Antony & The Johnsons and Grizzly Bear and recently composed the soundtrack for the film 'The Reader'. He lives in New York, where his first opera will premiere at The Metropolitan Opera.
Singer-songwriter Teitur lives in the Faroe Islands and is regarded as one of the trendsetters of the singer-songwriter genre. In recent years, he has toured with Rufus Wainwright, Ane Brun, and John Mayer, and this year he won the Danish MTV Award for 'Best Male Singer'. The young ensemble Holland Baroque Society impresses with their sublime interplay and their open-minded way of working.

In 2008, these young, talented musicians collaborated for the first time during the Cross-linx festival. There, they worked on a challenging project: composing music for YouTube clips. Even the comments were used as a source of inspiration for the lyrics, and in a short time, four fantastic songs were ready. (see www.youtube.com/user/confessionstube)
The success left them wanting more, so now it is time for a sequel: Confessions.

The first entries stand a chance to win free tickets to the live concerts that will take place in November and December 2009 in the most important Dutch concert halls.
