Last year, during the Storytelling Festival, we took you into the ship's hold; this time, we are traveling with the stars. Anyone who has ever stood on the deck of a ship at night or slept in the desert knows how magical a starry sky can be. We are bringing that magic to Amsterdam.
We are proud that a number of international stars are once again coming to the Amsterdam NDSM shipyard: Len Cabral from the United States, Shonaleigh Cumbers and Peter Chand from Great Britain, and Chirine Elansary from Egypt. What is special is that all these storytellers have diverse backgrounds—Jewish, Indian, Caribbean, and Arab—that color their stories. But the Dutch and Flemish stars are certainly not inferior to them.
Together, they put on a spectacular program!
We ask for special attention for the youngest stars. The up-and-coming talents in the Rising Stars program on Sunday and the young guns who curated Saturday evening under the leadership of Sahand Sahebdivani.

A star is never alone in the sky. We are therefore pleased to welcome you to the second Storytelling Festival: Stars Tell Stories.
