On Wednesday, December 9, from 8:30 PM, Cinema Het Ketelhuis will once again be the setting for the semi-annual debate on current issues in Dutch film politics, this time under the title 'The Winter Consultation'.
The agenda includes, among other things:
- The Oscar soap opera: a reconstruction of a farce. And what happens next?
- Will the cinema and film theater industry soon go completely digital?
Surprising insights into the current state of affairs.
- Ten years of De Oversteek. The collaborative project between the Film Fund and VPRO has produced feature films such as De Poolse Bruid, Met grote blijdschap, Iles flottantes, Guernsey, Diep, Langer licht, and Nothing Personal. Should the Film Fund limit itself to this?
- The Theu Boermans Effect: what are the consequences for the film industry of the court ruling regarding the appearance of bias by the advisory committee of the Performing Arts Fund? That committee allegedly wrongly issued a negative judgment regarding the continued existence of De Theatercompagnie.
The Winter Consultation is organized by Het Ketelhuis, in collaboration with De Filmkrant.
