This summer, Amsterdam will be the stage for the 2016 European Athletics Championships (July 6-10). The spotlight will be on our national athletics heroes. Experis is a proud National Sponsor and is launching the 6x6 2016 European Athletics Championships Film Competition in the run-up to the sporting event. For this competition, we are seeking 6 emerging, talented filmmakers who are not only distinctive and inspiring but also highly driven. Just like our top athletes in their preparation for the European Championships.

These filmmakers are given the opportunity to uniquely capture the story of six top Dutch athletes, including Gregory Sedoc and Eelco Sintnicolaas. What drives our sports heroes, what keeps them moving and focused on their way to the 2016 European Athletics Championships?

Pitch
From the applications, a professional jury will select six teams of two on March 5. These teams will receive a substantial budget to realize their pitch. They will have two weeks to do so.

Premiere and winner
100 days before the start of the European Championships, the films will premiere during a special event. Subsequently, the winner will be determined in a public voting round, combined with the jury's verdict. In addition to eternal glory, this team wins a magnificent VIP package during the 2016 European Athletics Championships!
