Hanging around Amsterdam in the limbo between Christmas and new Years? I felt that since the people who are still in town probably have more time on their hands than normal, its a good time to screen a lengthy classic, and why not screen this work which is considered by many to be one of the top 10 films of the last century.....in the director's cut which has rarely ever been screened (for example: the Dutch version is 47 minutes shorter!).
