Tuesday, January 19 at Cinema OT301: SUPERBABES IN SPACE

Two cult classics for 4 euros: BARBARELLA with Jane Fonda & STAR CRASH with Caroline Munro and David Hasselhoff in tight spacesuits.

Director and womanizer Roger Vadim described his space psychedelic BARBARELLA (1968) as 'a sexual Alice in Wonderland of the future'. Title role actress Jane Fonda, who has always detested performing in kinky costumes, is therefore primarily frivolous, seductive, and disarming—no matter how big her futuristic pistols may be.

Cinema.nl describes STAR CRASH (1978) as a film "in which the sexy Munro is hired to fight villain Spinell, who wants to destroy the universe. A dim-witted sci-fi affair with clumsy special effects and a few jokes as well." It is an irresistibly bad-taste product with shoddy effects, terrible acting, and David Hassselhoff!
