The TV film "Dede, Mehmet with the Yellow Boots", produced by Corrino Drama and the
KRO-NCRV has been nominated for an Emmy in the category Best TV Movie/Miniseries. The nominations
The winners of the 2016 International Emmy Kids Awards were announced during Mipcom in Cannes.
The awards will be presented at MipTV in Cannes in April 2017.

The film, directed by Tamara Miranda and written by Arzu Kökeng, tells the story.
of 11-year-old Merel. The girl discovers that her Dutch grandfather is not
her real grandfather is. Against her mother's wishes, Merel goes, together with her new Turkish
friend Emre, looking for her mysterious grandfather. Her biological grandfather turns out to be a handsome
to be a Turkish guest worker named Mehmet.

"Dede, Mehmet with the Yellow Boots" is an adventurous road film through and through. A story
about cultural diversity, about family and courage. In a lighthearted and
