We recently came up with a new idea at www.dierencasting.nl:
Now owners are in the casting too! As a team with their own pets, that is; this ensures "realistic" pairings, plus the major advantage that the dog and actor are perfectly matched. They are available together (or separately, of course) for extras and modeling work. The roster isn't very large yet, but it is nice and diverse—so it's all "new" faces.
