"Rose Marin, Moving On" is about the young, talented solo artist Rose Marin from Haarlem; for her, moving forward is the only way to make her musical dreams come true.

In this colorful music documentary, we follow Rosemarijn Strijker from Haarlem, a young, talented, and ambitious singer-songwriter.

In 2018, Rose Marin participated in the Blind Auditions of The Voice of Holland and sang the song 'When You Say Nothing At All' by Ronan Keating. The judges did not consider her rendition of the song sufficient to allow Rose Marin to advance in the talent show on national television.
Despite that disappointment, Rosemarijn decided to continue with her music and is doing everything she can to reach the top. She continues to perform as a solo artist, writes her own songs, has plans for a studio album, and studies vocals at the Haarlem Conservatory. Music experts and her loyal fans believe Rose Marin has musical qualities.

We want to show the target group of young, passionate musicians that with perseverance, love, and passion for music, you can achieve your goals in life. The road to ultimate success is long.

The music world is a tough one, where newcomers have to fight for a successful musical career. A unique vocal sound and good guitar playing are not always enough to break through. Rose Marin experienced this during her participation in The Voice of Holland, where the judges, to the audience's surprise, did not turn their chairs around. The television appearance brought her name recognition and more than 100,000 views on YouTube. Despite setbacks, Rosemarijn Strijker does not let herself be discouraged. Continuing to make music is her only goal.

The documentary is being produced by documentary filmmaker Oncko Quirijn van Kammen and cameraman Andre Soelwinder, and is an original idea by the motivated makers. They have extensive experience in the media world and possess the technical facilities and knowledge to tell this special musical story in their own way, in an intimate atmosphere.

The documentary makers also have a passion for music and are seeking sponsors for the production costs (script, HD filming, voice-over, and final editing) to visually present this documentary in an original way for music lovers.
