Are you crazy about documentaries? Does a stimulating, original story make your heart beat faster? And are you curious about the latest developments in the field of documentaries? Then come to the DOC Industry Day on Friday, February 14 during the documentary festival DOCfeed at LAB-1 Eindhoven.

The documentary world never stands still. And that is just as well. It grows and flourishes in innovative ways thanks to talented filmmakers. During the fourth edition of the DOC Industry Day, we will reflect on the question: what are the developments in the documentary sector and how can talent development programs align with them?

We shine the spotlight on the necessity of talent development, honing your skills, and the various talent development tracks that can help with this. At the DOC Industry Day, a platform is provided for various talent development programs to inspire and enthuse others. Examples include VPRO Dorst, IDFAcademy, and Teledoc Campus. They present and pitch their latest vision. We explore what the future holds for young makers by engaging in a dialogue. The day offers an excellent opportunity to meet other makers and producers in an informal setting.

You can ask guests such as multiple award winner John Appel (known for his documentary 'Zij gelooft in mij', among others), Suzanne van Vorst (Netherlands Film Fund and Teledoc Campus), Paul Pauwels (European Documentary Network), and Margit Balogh (Head of Documentary at EO) all your questions. It will be a day full of tips & tricks, inspiring masterclasses, special film screenings, and interesting Q&A sessions.
