As part of the Dutch Environmental Film Festival – which will be held from June 3 to 5 in Amsterdam and Rotterdam – Strawberry Earth cordially invites you to the Sustainable Film Production industry meeting on Friday, June 4 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Studio/K Amsterdam.
All runners in a Prius?
Can you produce a film or TV program sustainably without losing money or having to compromise on quality and artistic freedom? Chai Locher, filmmaker and organizer, provides an update on what is happening in Hollywood, Canada, and New Zealand, the major forerunners in this field. Yoeri van Alteren, director of the Club of 30, explains how the sustainability process is progressing elsewhere in the entertainment industry. One Minute Brand will speak about their paperless commercial production. Director Allard Faas will engage in a discussion with these people—filmmakers, producers, crew, and you in the audience. Should broadcasters start imposing sustainability requirements on their productions? What can licensing authorities and grant providers do? Should paper be banned forever, and should all runners drive Priuses?
