I played as an actor in various films, often in leading roles, such as Hell To Pay (thriller), Serial Dater (web series/film, romantic comedy/drama), 3 Of A Kind (crime), Esperanza (drama) and Triangle of Trust (crime). The roles varied from father extra to policeman, con man and murderer. On television I could be seen in supporting roles in GTST, ONM and Keizer & De Boer Advocaten. In addition, I played in commercials for Ben, Holland Casino and Postbus 51, among others.
As director I took charge of the short films Ontnomen (drama) and Viral (drama and humor), in which I also played a major role in terms of content and production.
In addition, I worked as a producer and director on various own productions (short films) for AVTF, student films and productions of others in which I was used for my experience in front of and behind the camera. Within my company Met Liefde Herinnerd I make documentaries, video interviews and testament videos in which I record special life stories as a director and interviewer. These projects bring together my love for storytelling, film art and human depth in a unique way.

I tackle every role with conviction, and I completely sink my teeth into my characters. I have a lot of experience with drama, romance, and comedy, but also with crime and action. You can actually go in all directions with me!

Working with acting coaches, directors and actors feels like the most natural thing in the world to me. Whether it’s coaching talent, developing new ideas or building inspiring projects—it gives me energy. I’ve been active in the industry for over 20 years. I started as a screenwriter, then spent years as an actor on set and on stage, and then developed into a director and producer. I now combine all these roles, because I simply can’t choose: I love filmmaking in all its facets. Setting up companies such as Acteerschool Rovado and the Vereniging AVTF (Artiesten Voor Theater & Filmkunst) is a logical expression of that passion for me. Bringing stories to life, creating together and really touching people—that’s where my heart lies.
