Pim Hegeman

As a storyteller, I have broad interests. I have been making films since I was twelve (professionally since I was 22) and acting in the theater since I was eighteen.
I studied filmmaking at ZUYD University of Applied Sciences in Maastricht, and I have since had the opportunity to work on Dutch productions such as Flikken Maastricht, Sluipschutters, and the big Sinterklaas film. My own films are absurdly comedic with a sad underlying story. I seek a balance between drama and humor and prefer working on scriptwriting/direction and editing within a project. Additionally, I regularly perform production work.
I acquired virtually all of my acting skills in the field. It started with amateur theater, and over the course of 10 years, I developed myself into a professional actor by continuously seeking out major, challenging plays, where I was mentored by, among others, Michel Sluysmans (Toneelgroep Maastricht), Vincent van den Elshout, and Anneke Schröder.
Some important steps I have taken:

• Improvisation group "Croque Monsieur" led by Leon van der Zanden in 2022/2023
