We zien je denken… Waarom de + achter editor? Binnen deze specifieke editors functie maak je deel uit van een groter dedicated klant-team en heb je ook meer project verantwoordelijkheid.
Jij als Editor: Naast de regisseur ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de verhalende kant van productfilms, mood/inspiratie films, how-to’s en kortere social content. In basis zijn alle uitingen voor online gebruik maar het kan gebeuren dat met hetzelfde materiaal ook tv-commercials gesneden gaan worden. Je bent niet alleen uitvoerder van het storyboard maar vult aan en zoekt altijd naar manieren om de film sprekender, pakkender en beter te maken. Je spiegelt en verrast de regisseurs en samen kom je tot het beste resultaat.
Titels zijn een belangrijk onderdeel van de uitingen. Naast de offline ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de opmaak, plaatsing en correctheid van het titelwerk.
Jij als Editor+: Naast die basis willen we de ownership op je werk uitbreiden. Je hebt een sturende werking richting de compositors, grader en eventueel motion graphic collega’s die jij voorziet van shots en sequenties om te bewerken. Jij bent voor hen degene die inhoudelijk en technisch ook meekijkt of die onderdelen van je films ook correct worden uitgevoerd. Je collega’s krijgen hun materiaal via jou en leveren het ook weer aan jou terug, zodat jij te allen tijde de verantwoordelijkheid hebt over de finale tijdlijnen binnen de projecten.
Daarnaast willen we samen met jou bekijken in hoeverre je in het voortraject, tijdens de productie van de storyboards, ook een spiegelende functie kunt hebben. Het zijn korte spiegelmomenten met de visualisers. Dit laatste is iets wat we proefondervindelijk met je willen aftasten. Als het de inhoudelijke en productionele flow van de producties helpt willen we dit als vast onderdeel van het werk mee gaan nemen.
Note! Dit alles wordt natuurlijk begeleid en gepland door je producer collega’s. De + is belangrijk maar we zoeken geen producer/editor.

You as Editor: In addition to the director, you are responsible for the narrative side of product films, mood/inspiration films, how-to’s and shorter social content. In principle, all expressions are for online use, but it is possible that TV commercials will also be cut with the same material. You are not only executor of the storyboard but you are always adding ideas and looking for ways to make the film more striking, catchy and better. You mirror and surprise the directors and together you achieve the best result. Titles are an important part of the utterances. In addition to the offline work, you are responsible for the layout, placement and correctness of the title work.
You as Editor+: In addition to that, we want to expand the ownership of your work. You have a guiding role towards the compositors, grader and possibly motion graphic colleagues who you provide with shots and sequences to edit. For them, you are the one who monitors creatively and technically whether those parts of your films are done correctly. Your colleagues get their material through you and also deliver it back to you, so that you are always responsible for the final timelines within the projects.
In addition, we would like to examine with you to what extent you can also have a reflective function in the preliminary phase, during the production of the storyboards. These are short mirror moments with the visualisers. The latter is something we want to explore with you experimentally. If it helps the creative- and production flow of the productions, we want to include this as a permanent part of the work.
