This includes directors, screenwriters, motion designers, writers, producers, photographers, animators, promoters, models, creative directors, actors, and more. Eager to discuss that new film you just watched? How about pitch a concept for a short film to fellow creatives? Looking for a composer or co-producer for your next feature? Every AIM event has brought together a wide variety of creatives, so you never know who you’re going to meet. WE WANT TO SHOWCASE YOUR WORK! However, please be sure you're going to attend the event if you'd like us to project one of your past projects. Submit your commercial reel, a clip from a short film, a scene from a music video, or any other creative piece, to [email protected] (download links only). We will play video only, no audio (since people will be talking) and please try to keep all submissions between 2-3 minutes. Be sure to add a link/name to your work at the end and send all clips by May 25th. Last but not lease, for all you independent filmmakers out there, we're starting the new AIM Indie Film Crew Database. The goal is to connect independent film producers and directors with local crew from around the Netherlands. This list will grow and evolve, eventually becoming public and part of a larger, growing database. Voor de limburgse spelshow Zoomer zoeken wij kandidaten, het liefste uit Limburg, die graag op TV willen komen en een leuk spel willen spelen. Zoomer wordt elke dinsdag en donderdag uitgezonden op TVEllef en wordt opgenomen in de studio in Linne (gem Maasgouw, bij Roermond). Als je niet uit de regio Midden-Limburg komt is niet erg. Een kleine reiskostenvergoeding is in dat geval vooraf bespreekbaar. Geef dit aan nadat je een eventuele uitnodiging ontvangt. Specifiek zijn we nog op zoek naar kandidaten die op zaterdagochtend 11 april 2026 naar de studio kunnen komen. De opnames beginnen die dag al om 10.00 uur. De documentaire KLANTREIS biedt een onthullende blik achter de schermen van de Nederlandse inburgering. Bekroond filmmaker Ton van Zantvoort (van o.a. SCHAPENHELD) kreeg hiervoor ongekende toegang tot de dagelijkse praktijk binnen gemeente, taalinstellingen en bij de nieuwkomers thuis. De film gaat 21 maart in première op Movies that Matter en draait vanaf 23 april landelijk in al bijna 40 filmtheaters. Trailer: https://vimeo.com/newtonfilm/klantreistrailer In KLANTREIS ervaart de kijker als directe getuige de complexiteit van de Nederlandse systemen. Zonder interviews of commentaar wordt zichtbaar wat normaal verborgen blijft. De aanleiding voor de film was de Wet inburgering 2021, waarbij gemeenten verantwoordelijk werden voor de uitvoering. Van Zantvoort volgde nieuwkomers twee jaar lang door alle stappen van hun traject en kreeg daarnaast unieke toegang tot besloten overleggen van de gemeente. De film toont de verwarring van nieuwkomers in een woud van regels waarin alles 'belangrijk' blijkt te zijn. Van Zantvoort: “We hebben een samenleving gebouwd die we zelf nauwelijks nog begrijpen. Hoe leg je die dan uit aan een nieuwkomer?” Film als startpunt voor landelijke dialoog De documentaire gaat veel verder dan alleen inburgering; de film raakt maatschappelijke thema’s als wonen, participatie, financiële en maatschappelijke ondersteuning. Vanaf 23 april start een landelijke tournee langs de filmtheaters. Om de impact te vergroten, worden na afloop van de film nagesprekken georganiseerd met het publiek, waarbij zij ook een eigen interactieve 'klantreis' doorlopen. Om een vertoning en dialoog in de eigen regio mogelijk te maken, is actieve interesse van de lokale partijen nodig. Gemeenten, scholen, woningbouwcorporaties en maatschappelijke organisaties worden daarom opgeroepen zich vrijblijvend aan te melden via klantreisfilm.nl/#doe_mee. Alleen bij voldoende aanmeldingen kan een vertoning in de eigen regio worden gerealiseerd.
